A Night on the Town!

You know you're cool when...

"A Night on the Town" refers to a radio show featuring Broadway songs you listened to at 10pm on Saturday night.

I have to admit that I enjoy the show, which not only plays songs but has a theme for the night (last night's was a tribute to Jerry Herman, best known for composing the score to Hello Dolly) and treats the listener to stories behind the songs and composers (Did you know that Jerry Herman had to write out most of the score to Hello Dolly before getting the composing job, just to prove that even though his previous musical was set in Israel he could write Americana style music? Bet you didn't!).

Other highlights from the evening include staying at the library until 7, tooling around on my bike for an hour, and thinking about a paper I'm writing.
