In The Walls....

I think something died in my apartment walls.. Scurrying noises above my head at night.. Worrying the attic door will fly open and dead (or alive) animals will pour out. I noticed a smell a week ago, aired out the apartment and it went away.

Left town for 5 days, came back and it was baaad. Aired out the apartment again and it lessened.

This morning I thought I had it pinpointed to a specific wall in my closet so I took everything out of my closet, vacuumed, and called the landlord. Of course after vacuuming and airing out the place, the smell lingers low but is unplaceable. Maybe not a dead rat, but a really smelly one that moves around up there?

Hopefully having someone check in the "attic' will restore my peace of mind. That is if they check. I'm still waiting on a new light fixture.. It's only been 5 months.
